Sinopsis (ES)
A principios del siglo XX la dinastía Qing estaba en decadencia. Laymen, un artista cinematográfico venido de Europa, llega a Pekín para realizar una proyección de películas. Liu Jinglu, que trabaja en un estudio fotográfico, quedó impresionado cuando vió la película. Más tarde Liu trabajaría con Laymen para realizar la proyección de las películas cada día. La proyección de estas películas tuvieron una importante influencia sobre Tan Xiaoling, hija de un maestro de la Ópera de Pekín, que también se enamoró de Liu. Liu se comprometió con la película y finalmente filmó una selección de la ópera de Pekín denominada “La montaña Ding Jun”. La película fue muy popular entre todos las personas del lugar. The Qing Dinasty was withering away at the beginning of the 20th century. Laymen, a fim artist from Europe, came to Beijing to show films. Liu Jinglu, working at a photo studio, was so excited when he saw the film. Liu later worked together with Laymen to give the film shows everyday. Tan Xiaoling, the daughter of a Peking opera maestro, was deeply influenced by the film projection and meanwhile, fell in love with Liu.
